Women Abuse Prevention Month

abuseNovember is Women Abuse Prevention Month. It is important that we educate ourselves and others about the prevalence of women abuse. One third of women over the age of sixteen have experienced at least one incident of sexual assault. Less than 10% of sexual assaults are reported to the police. It is crucial that we take the time to talk about, and recognize, that this is something that needs to change. We know that even one act of violence is one too many. Violence against women is not just a woman’s issue, but one that involves everyone. How will you contribute to ending it?
