Peaceful Protest on January 9th

Comedian Bill Cosby is coming to Hamilton Place on Friday, January 9/15. Many women have shared their allegations of being drugged and raped by Cosby.

A group of community members want to send a message to the world that Hamilton, and indeed Canada, supports not just these women but all survivors of sexual violence. This issue is part of a much larger problem in which survivors of sexual assault/violence/harassment are not believed.

A peaceful gathering is planned by the Woman Abuse Working Group (Hamilton) that will be held outside Hamilton Place (1 Summers Lane) from 7 to 8 p.m.  All supporters who are committed to ending violence against women are invited to attend.
