SAVIS Volunteer Training

This fall SAVIS provided 13 volunteers and 3 placement students with “front line” crisis line training. These new volunteers were excited to participate in the training sessions and each brought their own unique strengths and experiences to the sessions. SAVIS is excited to have such wonderful and hard working new volunteers.
In 2014, SAVIS will be offering a non-front line training sessions for volunteers to participate in. This training will include two training sessions on February 12th and February 19th, both from 6-9 pm. Non-front line trained volunteers assist with community booths and provide support events such as Take Back The Night and Lunafest.
