Human Trafficking in Halton: FREE Community Awareness Event

Join us for a FREE COMMUNITY AWARENESS event to learn more about Human Trafficking in the Halton Region.
Speakers will include representatives from the Halton Police, Elizabeth Fry, the Halton Collaborative Against Human Trafficking (HCAHT), Sexual Assault and Violence Intervention Services (SAVIS) of Halton and survivors of human trafficking amongst others.
The morning will consist of individual speakers followed by a panel discussion in the afternoon.
Refreshments and a light lunch will be provided.
Doors open at 9:30 am.
Donations of hygiene supplies and new backpacks will gladly be accepted and used to support survivors.
